Who we Seek
Currently we are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Stamford, CT office. The successful candidate will join a team to help lead our 'new sales' pipeline generation activities, as well as support the overall sales initiatives of our rapidly growing US business. The candidate must clearly demonstrate a consultative approach to solution-based sales. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities for BTS by both calling directly into the marketplace as well as partnering successfully with our client teams. This is a great opportunity for someone to rapidly take on significant responsibility and have a real impact on the overall profitability and success of the business. As such, you will need the necessary skills to operate successfully with minimal support.
Responsibilities include
- Generating new business opportunities for BTS by targeting and engaging key executives of potential Fortune 1000 clients via high-level phone calls and selective marketing conferences
- Conducting key industry vertical research to generate target companies lists
- Working with new sales team to help manage sales opportunities
- Understanding client's challenges and key initiatives and match needs with BTS solutions
- Assisting marketing team in annual conferences and all other marketing initiatives
- Assisting in the development of marketing materials in response to potential client needs
- Setting-up and plan potential client meetings
- Building lasting potential client relationships
Ideal Candidates will have
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years related b2b solution-based sales experience
- Demonstrated sales achievement and proven ability to engage at the C-level
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- A hunger to learn in a dynamic high growth environment
- Ability to listen and approach the sales process in a consultative manner
- Tactful and polite, however insistent and persuasive
- Ability to articulate the benefits of an intangible service
- Great experience with Microsoft Office suite and database management
- A mature, humble, professional, team player demeanor
