Who we Seek

We currently seek a self starter – high energy individual, responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. The Project Leader will be based out of our San Francisco, CA office.

Responsibilities include
  • Work with external clients, developers, writers, instructional designers and account managers to design, produce, and deliver a breadth of simulation solutions with a high level of quality and connection to relevant business issues
  • Manage and influence the planning and closing process that leads to design, development, and delivery resources on project teams to ensure proper staffing, timely execution, profitability, and delivery quality of all project milestones
  • Serve as primary project contact for client, managing expectations and evaluating impact of requests on scope, timeline, and budget, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction
  • Plan, execute, and control project timelines and budgets, preparing regular reports for clients, internal sponsors, and management
  • Apply and teach others the established processes and tools to the management of projects
  • Review and/or assist in the development of all project-related deliverables
  • Support sales efforts in solution design, proposal creation, and estimating the scope and requirements for proposed projects
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, best practices, and the continuous improvement of processes
  • Work closely with virtual team within the project office to ensure all project data within a central project repository, is complete and current
  • Oversee team members on smaller projects or phases of larger projects
  • Manage the outsourcing of project work or roles to vendors when applicable
  • Mentor team members in established project management techniques
  • Able to deliver Project Management related solutions both to internal and external parties

Project Success (managing within time, quality, and budget constraints)

  • Completing project milestones on time
  • Completing project to quality specifications/client expectations
  • Ensuring that the projects under the office location are on track on a monthly basis

Stakeholder Satisfaction

  • Client and/or Sponsor satisfaction (Delivery or Development)
  • Team satisfaction
  • Internal management satisfaction

Sales Support

  • Serve as first point of project contact or proposal inquiry for assigned accounts / location
Ideal Candidates will have
  • BS/BA required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus
  • Minimum of 3-6 years experience in project management required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and transfer knowledge of the design, development, and implementation of custom curriculum and/or technology-based learning solutions
  • Mastery knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers and adapt to client specific needs
  • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
  • Excellent organization/teamwork/communication skills
